My Thoroughbred Cabo Uno and his mule sister Delilah Rose had a visit from Dr. Lawson for vaccinations and Coggins testing today. It’s clear that they love her as much as I do.”

Compassion in Difficult Times
“Our very first visit with them, we had them check out a growing mass on our dog. While waiting for results, our dog started experiencing some concerning symptoms. I rushed a urine sample up, and although it was the end of the day, Dr. Cox took the time to check out the sample. She also came out to explain the results of the biopsy. It turned out to be cancer. She talked about options, and we chose palliative care. She then took time to prescribe some medications. A week later, we made the difficult decision to humanely euthanize our dog after she continued to decline. They set up a nice area outside under their tree for the procedure. Dr. Priebe did a wonderful job of reassuring us that we made a hard but correct decision, and she did a wonderful job making our girl comfortable as she passed. Dr. Priebe continued to sit and pet our dog after she had passed while our family loaded up to leave.
Everyone here has treated our animals and us with respect and love. Ricky, the front desk personnel, and the several techs that we’ve met have been nothing but kind. We’ve only been clients for a week, but they will be our veterinarians for life.”
